Where is Reinforcement Learning in demand at work?
It’s more or less clear to me what specialists from machine learning / data science are doing. Processing raw data, building models, training those models for classification/regression, that's all there are a million articles about.
But I thought about it and I can’t answer myself, but what do reinforcement learning specialists do in commerce? Those who can teach the machine to play Atari. It is clear that there is academic research, there are some narrow niches in the R&D of very large companies, for example, autopilot in cars. Is there a job for these specialists in the mass market, is there a demand for them?

Usually, vacancies are posted by industries (industry, construction, agriculture, transport ...), so it is difficult for generalists (mathematicians, machine gunners ...) to navigate.
There was a closed lecture by Sergei Markov , where he points out the main directions (someday it will be posted for free). How can you decide whether you recognize texts or synthesize proteins?
