Where in Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop can I turn off the laptop's built-in microphone?
My laptop (Asus X54C) has no microphone at all, I communicate through an external Logitech 270C, but in different programs it spontaneously tries to connect the internal one, and the external one, on the contrary, disconnects - I’m already tired of fiddling with this, how can I radically solve this issue in Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop, To turn off the internal one at all (together with the camera - it is also useless in this Asus model), leave only external USB media devices?
Thank you.

Additional software is required to disable the microphone. I recommend installing the Gnome Alsa Mixer manager, in which you can disable an unnecessary device (MIC).
To terminal:
sudo apt-get install gnome-alsamixer
Disable the loading of the webcam module, something like this: How To Disable Built-in Webcam In Linux
