How to remove echo during a conference?
Good day, this is the situation: during a video conference in Google meet with 7 connected participants (remotely) + a meeting room, all these 7 people hear an echo. When the microphone is muted from the side of the meeting room, then the participants do not hear the echo (there is a poppy mcmini in the meeting room). What could be the cause of this problem?

For meeting rooms, special equipment with echo cancellation should be used . Macmini is not such equipment.
The simplest thing to do (or how I built two conference rooms):
1) Move the speakers away from the microphones, taking into account the radiation pattern of both. The speakers certainly shouldn't look at the microphones.
2) Keep a simple idea - speakers should have personal microphones. It can be a gross option on a stand (it is the cheapest, and oddly enough, a working one, microphones for 500 rubles from alik and a stand from the same place are suitable here)
3) If you use a panoramic microphone, this should be a special device for conferences. It's just that a "microphone" with the gain turned out to hell is not such a device.
The cheapest, no-investment solution is to require
the participants, who sit individually, to do this with headphones
or cut their microphones when they are silent
