I am a novice layout designer and I want to start a career in IT, but they won’t take a job without commercial experience. Where can you get an internship in St. Petersburg? I searched in many places, but everywhere there are high requirements for beginners. I heard from some that they took on an internship or even a job without experience AT ALL and trained ... was this only before or is it now too?

Yes, there is such a thing - they take without experience both for internships (paid) and for work.
But I'm not sure if this is relevant for layout designers.
