Why do companies post fake jobs?
I think some of you have experienced this:
- You send a resume describing your experience, seniority and skills
- Attach a portfolio (sometimes not bad)
- Perfectly complete the test task (!!!)
- You are perfect, 100% fit the requirements
But then, you are voiced a refusal (or simply silent), saying that someone was found who completed the task better. To answer, justify the better and send an example of the one who did better - silently - which, as it were, hints subtly. But nevertheless, the vacancy continues to hang for months, or even half a year, or even more.
What is it? Why do they need it? I heard something about the imitation of violent activity, and that there were many similar cases (there was even an article on Habré). But the key point is still not clear. Please explain.

There are many reasons, up to half of the vacancies are not entirely real: a vacancy for monitoring, a vacancy for replenishing the database, there are several versions (they decide which is more priority), while they were looking for - the project was stopped / postponed, they really take 1 out of 100 (they choose once a year and need).
The main reasons for this phenomenon are the budget and instability of projects. Sluggish recruiting costs are not comparable to the regular payment of salaries.
in fact, these are your fantasies, it does not hint at anything. They stupidly don’t have time to answer, or the management has already changed something with the project, or the money is gone, or the money is just waiting to actually hire, or they decided to outsource instead of hiring, or God knows what
You just acted as an assistant for free ... the test task was most likely a real task.
This is the case in many areas (the same hostesses are sometimes taken "for an internship" for two days ... and then - sorry, but .. maybe someday we will call for a replacement
Yes, do not invent nonsense just like that, no one will spend resources on recruiting
Calm down, you just did not fit into this company. They will not tell you in person that they do not take male-female, not older than 35 and not younger than 30, married, gay, sweaty, nasty, unshaven bums, drug addicts and alcoholics, thieves, sociopaths, debtors in debt, etc.
You just fell into this category, humble yourself.
