Where can I find a preconfigured linux image?
There is a new server based on VMWare ESXi and a couple of very crooked hands in terms of these Linuxes of yours. There is also an old server that needs to be transferred to a virtual environment. However, the software there is very vintage and rather crooked, so it is hardly advisable to merge the image from it.
Total: we are looking for a ready-made image that includes some fresh Debian or CentOS + fresh PHP / MySQL. Some simple and non-leaky WebMin type panel is welcome (or maybe someone knows a better option?). As long as you don't have to heavily rewrite PHP scripts written in the days of PHP/MySQL4 it will be fabulous.
Is there such happiness anywhere?

“fresh same PHP / MySQL”
It seems to me that these are antonyms.
Ubuntu Server . Or Debian, install from netinstall. And check the box next to the web server. You can find it here or here , and if you don’t fit, look for similar ones here .
