When you turn on the computer, the cooler turns on at maximum speed, what should I do?
The computer is quite old, but still in service. I wanted to update the processor on it, ordered it, changed it, the processor refused to work, the speaker squeaked. I sent it back and installed my native Pentium. Lubricated with thermal paste and put the cooler. I turn it on and immediately noticed that the cooler was working at a slightly increased speed, about 2000. Well, I decided to restart the computer and after that, the cooler turns on at maximum speed. I tried to change the thermal paste more than once, I tried two pieces, the computer worked fine before that and kept the speed at 800. I removed it carefully, nothing fell. With what it can be connected?
Hardware:
Intel pentium dual core e5500
RAM: 6 GB
Motherboard: acer g43t-am3

set the fan mode in bios. there are usually several options for Silent Maximum, etc.
1) Loose fit of the sole of the cooler to the processor. It may be due to broken fasteners, improper application of thermal paste (smearing like butter on bread - and an air bubble formed there when pressed), applying too thick a layer of thermal paste.
2) Incorrect connection of the cooler (to the wrong connector).
PS I don't recommend fighting the BIOS in the BIOS, you need to treat the cause, not the consequence ...
