Change video card driver for (l)ubuntu in Macbook White?

For some reason, I had to put lubuntu on a poppy. Everything would be fine, but I noticed that the color reproduction, contrast, in fact, the picture itself in lubuntu (as, by the way, in Windows via bootcamp) is not as juicy and saturated as in macos. After some time, the eyes begin to hurt: I have not seen this in makosi.
Maybe it's the video card?
Is it worth digging at all with this, is it possible to change the picture? If yes, where to dig?
