When you try to access the flash drive, you get the error "Unable to mount"?
Hello!
There was such a problem:
During the transfer of files to a USB flash drive, the process slowed down a lot, the transfer of files was canceled. When trying to access the flash drive, the mouse stopped working (it is also connected via USB). Rebooted the computer. When I try to access the flash drive, I get the error "Unable to mount".
FS: NTFS
OS: Xubuntu 12.04

1. The flash drive could burn and power up the USB, usually in such cases the built-in self-resetting fuses work ... if the Chinese did not save on them.
2. Check the flash drive for a short circuit, check the USB ports for voltage drop with a connected flash drive
3. Visit flashboot.ru, find factory utilities for the flash drive, try to extract the memory dump and restore the file system
4. Find a donor flash drive, solder the memory or controller, change it, after restoring the FS.
5. Throw away.
