There is an application for Windows that runs instead of explorer.exe (registry key):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\
Shell the computer is not stuck, then the disk is not automatically connected! Those. files cannot be accessed.

Plug it in yourself. If vlom dig winapi - mountvol to help, you can write a script. There is probably something more convenient in Powershell.
