"Inet_pton procedure entry point not found in DLL WS2_32.dll"
How to solve this problem? Why is this happening?

inet_pton - introduced with IPv6. XP probably doesn't have it. Perhaps there is IPv6 for XP and there will be a newer version of Winsock.

Wrong version of the library, look for a newer one.
In general, you need to look at the requirements for the Windows service pack and the availability of specific updates. Most likely on 7 it will start without problems.
