How to disable skype in windows 10?
I hardly use Skype, but sometimes it may be necessary, so I don’t want to completely delete it, just disable it.
In task manager, it's not there.
In the settings of Skype itself, I unchecked the box to run at Windows startup.
Where is it registered to run. I can't understand at all.
Thanks in advance.

Skype in Windows 10, like many other applications, can work in the background
(remember phones where you can receive notifications from viber \ skype \ telegram and others without bringing them to the foreground in the background).
Press start , enter background in the search field and select the item " Select which applications can run in the background ".
The windows settings menu item will open, where you can disable the background mode in principle, or you can only disable certain applications.
Checked - after that, the viber stopped bothering with meaningless messages (because Skype is needed: D and viber is not)
