When playing a sound, the interlocutor hears his own voice, how to fix it?

Hello! I downloaded a virtual cable on my Mac. Now I need to do the following: so that I can output certain sounds to the interlocutor, and so that he hears them, BUT so that he does not hear his own voice when he says something during sound playback. I sort of set everything up, but I understood it wrong. The interlocutor hears sounds, but also hears himself, which creates echo, interference and other troubles with sound. How to set up a virtual cable on a mac so that only the system sounds that I turn on for the interlocutor can be heard, but without his voice if he suddenly says something?

it is necessary that the sound of the interlocutor be played on a different audio device than the one from which the reproduced sound goes to him through Wirth. cable.
Let's say, connect some other USB audio device, and in the settings of the communication program (Skype, Zoom?) select it as the output audio device.
