When choosing the AMD Balanced power mode, the processor frequency and fps sag but in the performance mode of 90 degrees cpu. How to fix it?
When choosing the AMD Balanced power mode, the processor frequency and fps sag. And when I set the maximum performance mode, the CPU temperature rises inadequately high, but the processor frequency becomes normal and the FPS increases significantly. For example, in the game in Balanced mode, the temperature is 55-60 degrees, including the performance mode, it reaches 90-95 degrees.
I have a laptop with a Ryzen 5 3550 H processor.
Initially, I encountered severe overheating (thermal paste and cooler are fine). Then I downloaded the driver for my chipset in which this Balanced mode was. It helped, but it really squanders performance, I can’t use the computer to the fullest.
