When and how do you need to legally register a company for an online project?
Hello!
It's about the social network.
1) When do I need to register a company? At the very beginning of the implementation of the idea or when will the first profit come?
2) What about copyright?
3) What form of ownership to choose while living in the Russian Federation? Does it make sense to register a company in another country, such as the USA?

1) The company must be registered from the very beginning. If you start to receive income without registering a business, then this is fraught with tax evasion.
2) It is better to issue all rights to the company. So, later, it will be more convenient to raise money for your project, and sell the business (if you need to get out of it).
3) Start with an LLC and register on the territory of the Russian Federation. This option is optimal for the same reasons as described in the 2nd paragraph. If the project "shoots" and you need to enter foreign markets, then you will think about foreign jurisdiction.
As soon as the first money goes, then register, otherwise you risk wasting a certain amount. Regarding tax evasion - while incomes are small, no one is interested in you from the word at all. The Federal Tax Service hunts only for large fish, and no one will fuck their brains because of 10,000 rubles.
I advise you to start with an individual entrepreneur, it’s easier to withdraw money from a business, and you don’t need to mess around with papers a lot.
You can distribute rights without registering firms. You do not need a hemorrhoid at the start of the project.
If there is a profit and IF you want to bring it to Russia, then welcome to registration.
About the meaning of registration in the US - a matter of economic feasibility. We assessed tax losses in a particular jurisdiction, compared the profit of the project and the costs of its maintenance - we chose it. :)
