What would you recommend betting on Orange San Francisco (aka ZTE Blade)?

What modified firmware would you recommend and why?
Are 2.3 firmwares finished? Does it make sense to put something other than CyanogenMod? Are there any problems in these firmware? What is your cost?

I bought Orange san francisco for my wife.
costs 2.2 from John77_b9
in 2.3, it seems that the proximity sensor and WI-FI are not working stably, I'll wait for the next firmware from John to w3bsit3-dns.com and try to flash it. on 2.2 everything works fine

CyanogenMod I advise you if you do not want to deal with android. Long battery life, nice design. I have such firmware now.

Worth 2.2 from John77 v8. It has been standing for several months, the flight is normal. When flashing, nothing was cut off, everything works fine. Vaypal battery - there is an effect.
In phone mode (about a dozen calls per day + a couple of SMS) and rare use of the Internet (via WiFi or Edge) is enough for 2-3 days.
There is a lot of useful information on the firmware for this phone on w3bsit3-dns.com - read first about the problems that arise during some transitions (disabling sensors, touchscreen glitches, etc.)

The firmware is FLB Froyo (2.2) r10. Satisfied with absolutely everything. After replacing the standard battery with a more capacious one, and a few tweaks on the “buildup”, it works 3-4 days on a single charge, longer than my previous Nokia. I am very pleased with both the phone and the firmware. If anyone is interested in the battery, my research on this topic is here .

There is also Cyanogenmod Green . It is built on the basis of the standard Cyanogen (now based on Nightly 85), but some more patches have been added there, for example, the libaudio.so library has been fixed, which used to drain the battery very quickly. We replaced the launcher with Launcher Pro, which significantly speeds up the interface.
I use the fourth day and did not observe a single error or reboot. Everything is like clockwork.
