Operating Systems

What useful information is there about operating systems?

Good day everyone!

I honestly did not expect this moment, but it came. At the end of January there will be an exam on the subject of Operating Systems. At the university, they studied on Linux.
Please tell me useful articles on the device of operating systems from the inside. At the university, they told stories, but they were very crumpled, and in books everything is very stretched out and "by the end of the phrase you forget where you started."

Thank you all!

I would advise you to take a look at https://stepik.org/course/1780/syllabus
There is a good course on operating systems with an introduction to assembler.
Try to write to the KolibriOS community, they wrote the operating system in assembler, probably knowledgeable people. Or take a look at the CollapsOS sources.
A rather long option is to either build "Linux from scratch", or write the most simple system using material from the Internet (but you can hardly have time to do this hardcore).
There is a course from Hexlet on YouTube, take a look at it.
And it’s better to always study together, contact me on Habré if necessary (I also study operating systems, albeit not so systematically).
But I'm afraid it will be difficult to learn everything at once, so start right now, and study regularly, for half an hour, without distractions, alternating topics of study, as well as focused and diffuse thinking. It is useful to read the book "Think like a mathematician" by Barbara Oakley.
Good luck
