What USB extension cable is suitable for a WiMax modem?

I use 4G Internet, there are reasons for that. Provider - Giraffe (Ukraine). I live in a private house, on the descent into the beam, so the connection sometimes messes up. The modem is in the attic, but I'd like to mount it higher. But the cable does not allow (short). There is a USB extension cable, working, but for some reason the modem does not contact it (the network search is interrupted). Support is great, that's why I'm writing here. Are there extension cables for 4G WiMax modems? Device (modem) - MIMO 9799/Win7 x86. For connection I use WCM software.

It is likely that your extension cord has very thin power wires, and they have a large drawdown with a long length.
There is no special extension cord, you just need a high-quality extension cord from a good wire. Here you have to go by trial and error.
In general, it makes sense to take a wifi router with support for such modems, and hang it near the modem. It will be both convenient in terms of connecting devices, and there will be no problem with the stability of the modem.
Such a bunch works for me quite well, I chose the zyxel kennekt 4g router.

I can advise you to find an "Active Extension Cord" in some electronic store, they cost 500 rubles each (100-150 hryvnia mb). you can also try to buy a powered USB hub and put it somewhere near the Modem, I think that the socket can be found somewhere. :)
