What to study in IT, where to go in the future?
Hello dear, I want to ask your advice, I'm studying web development in college in my second year, I entered a place where they teach not to develop anything, but just mathematics. The bottom line is that I do not know how to properly study my profession. I don’t know where to find information, I tried to watch videos on YouTube, read forums about layout and html, css, but it doesn’t stick in my head because the hodgepodge of knowledge can’t be fixed. Looking at the layout without general knowledge? I want to ask knowledgeable people how did you learn? Maybe sites, some courses with good practice. I like to watch videos about information security (how to use viruses, tools for hacking something). I just want to start learning something, and not sit like a fool and think about how I will plow in a poppy for a penny.
Ps I am 17 years old and I am driven very hard on this topic.

As mentioned above, mathematics is taught everywhere. As such, you will not find a normal specialty "programmer <something>". Therefore, you need to teach yourself.
Self-education is the main skill of a programmer.
Set a goal for yourself to find a job. Look at what is expected from juniors in your vacancies, learn it. Read books, articles, documentation. Do not forget about English, it is very important, the main information is in it, although now there is a lot of information in Russian. Find a community of developers in your city and chat with them live. They can both help test your knowledge and direct you in some direction.
and not sit like a fool and think about how I will plow in a poppy for a penny.that's exactly what it will be!
