What to do with a worn out HDD?
Sorry for the noob question. There is a worn out HDD seven years old. The HDDlife program shows a dangerous level of "health", on a red mark. I replaced the drive with another one, no problem. The question arose of what to do with a dead HDD: is it possible to fix it, somehow bring it back to life, or sell it to someone, or just throw it away and not worry?
The bottom line is that it’s not a pity to throw it away, but is it possible to extract at least some benefit from it?

1. You can upload any data to it that is a pity to erase, but I would like it to lie down. For example, films that, if something happens, can be downloaded from the Internet.
And the place will be freed, and he will be able to lie down.
2. In the primeval years, among the administrators there was a traditional competition in throwing hard drives.
