What to do if you can't sync your bitcoin wallet?

In 2017, I bought bitcoin, but could not synchronize Bitcoin Core, the computer was weak. saved wallet.dat.

If I do not add my wallet, then Core is fully synchronized.
If I add my wallet, then Core, when downloading the Bitcoin Core blockchain, is synchronized until the date of purchase, and then crashes. In what direction can I think and what can I do about it?
