What to do if USB ports are disabled during Windows installation?
Good afternoon. Please tell me what to do. At work, there is an Aquarius Cmp TCC S49 thin client, when installing (or rather restoring) Windows XP on it, at a certain point after the message that a Realtek HD Audio driver was found that has not been tested for compatibility with Windows XP, both the mouse and keyboard freeze. As a result, it is not possible to continue the installation. It looks like the USB ports are losing power. What can be done in such a situation? Many thanks to all who responded!!!

Go into the BIOS, disable the device for which there is no driver.
Another option is to integrate the necessary drivers into the distribution (I suspect these are not sound card drivers, but USB drivers).
By the way, in the BIOS, you can try changing the USB compatibility mode.
