What to do if the HDD drive crashes during the jump?

I bought a hdd disk about 3 months ago, everything was fine when I connected it.
but then it started to disappear when something big was downloaded,
for example, I downloaded ASTRONEER (1 GB)
, everything downloaded fine.
I download GTA (102 GB), the disk turned off at 54 GB.
what to do and what could it be?

started to disappear... the disk turned off

It would be nice if you could describe more precisely what exactly is happening, whether it is accompanied by any error messages, crashes, BSODs, etc. Is there anything in the system logs?
Traditionally, first look at what R.tester says about the disk, also looking at SMART: https://rlab.ru/tools/rtester.html
Next, you can continue with reading tests. And if the disk is fresh and there is no important data there (or it can be transferred), you can also run a write test (destroys data on the disk).
The test can be run as linear (similar to downloading a large file), as well as random, and accordion. Both random recording and "accordion" will load the disk even more than linear recording.
Actually, in the second case, the read test can be skipped and you can start immediately with the write. A full write and then a full read is the best home test for a new hard drive, or one that has any doubts.
Just in case, I repeat once again that the write test irrevocably destroys data, so it is important to prepare for this and not be mistaken with the choice of drive.

It may or may not be a disc problem.
First, check (replace) the SATA cable and make sure that the power connector connected to the drive is not loose, and that the adapter on the power cable is not used.
Second, try connecting the drive to a different SATA port on the motherboard.
If we were offline, I'd bet a big chocolate bar that your drive sometimes goes offline even when you're not downloading anything. It's just harder to notice.

chkdsk C: /F /R
or
chkdsk D: /F /R
