What to do if Borland "stupid" in FreeDOS on VirtualBox?

Installed FreeDOS on VirtualBox. Everything works great, including toys. When I installed and launched BorlandC, I ran into such a problem that Borland slows down a lot. As far as I understand, the update occurs very rarely, about once every half a second, which is why quickly printed 10 characters on the keyboard in Borland are displayed gradually over several seconds. Is it possible to somehow increase the refresh rate so that Borland does not "stupid", or is it a feature of VirtualBox?
