What to choose for backend python, machine learning and mathematics / physics in python?

Hello toasters. There is a choice between macbook pro 15 2015 (16gb 4 cores) and macbook pro 13 2018 (8gb 2 cores), it is also possible to save a little more and buy something more powerful, but macbook pro. In view of the fact that development for iOS is very likely in the near future. I ask macovods and pythonists to respond. There is a 12 nuclear monster at home, but there has never been a laptop. With the user experience, Macs are not just good, but excellent. especially if you find the strength to abandon old habits and understand the logic of the new system.
not without jambs of course (and where they are not), but for me personally makos is the best axis for everyday work.
as for applebooks: given their almost zero upgrade ability, you need to take the most powerful one you can afford.
and I would prefer the "old" 16gb and 4 cores to the "new" 8 gigs and 2 cores.
