What specialty should a web programmer who loves mathematics choose?

Hello everyone, I finished 11 classes, my favorite subject is mathematics.
I tried myself in c ++, java - I didn’t like it, it’s difficult and there is no interest in writing software, games.
But I always dreamed of creating websites, even in my head there are projects that I will implement in the future.
At the moment I am fully able to work with html (I graduated today, I was shocked that I was able to create buttons, a field for entering a login, password, etc.) I
started learning CSS, it's also interesting. Although when I didn’t know html, css seemed incredibly incomprehensible to me.
Then I’ll start JavaScript, but I don’t want to be an ordinary front-end, but I will also learn php in order to become a full-fledged website developer.
Then I plan to create my own projects + at the same time help people improve sites for free, the main thing for me is to get my hand and experience, and then poke my nose into freelancing, then it will be easier to get a job and I will combine it with freelancing.
Now closer to the point. I initially chose PM, because. I love mathematics, as I said, I am not afraid of the complexity that lies ahead of me. But I doubted the choice due to the fact that the specialty "Informatics" says that they teach web developers, databases, the Internet .... etc. everything that is connected with my interests, but there is no such thing in the PM.
I know that it doesn’t matter to a programmer what higher education it is, it’s the main thing for a “tick”, but I also wanted the institute not to take a lot of time from me, but to study languages calmly.

PM is applied mathematics?
A lot depends on the university.
Walk around the universities and ask the admissions committee how they are with computer disciplines, where, what and how. They know more. Further, based on their pointers, ask the senior courses (university groups in social programs, etc.) how these specialties actually work (acceptance needs a quantity, and the seniors know better) and, based on the data received, choose.
He himself graduated from the Applied and we had a good base, thanks to the teachers. And the web was both a backend and a database.
But he also worked with webdevs with a completely unrelated IT education, and this did not bother them at all.

Why waste 4-5 years of life for show, if education is not interesting and not in the profile?!

You have an interest in sites now, do not build a strategy for the development of all your future life out of it. Website development is the ultimate thing, and sooner or later you will hit the ceiling in it.
If you have an interest in mathematics, then I would advise you to go to a decent university and develop your interest there. PM is a great choice as it is math but applied .

I doubted the choice due to the fact that the specialty "Informatics" says that they teach web developers, databases, the Internet ....
Where is the description from? What university?
