What specialties-direction are there in game development (graphic part)?
Gentlemen, help me understand the wide variety of graphic trends in game development. I started looking at what is on the Internet and got completely confused: 3D game artist, concept designer, VFX designer, CG designer, 3D modeler and many more "unknown words" I found. It became interesting for me to find out everything)
Can someone write clearly, or is there a good article where all this is painted - what are the directions and who does what?

There are kotsnepters - who draw something that will not go into the game, but will give inspiration to others.
There are 2D artists who draw everything from concepts in 2D. Inside there is a division by type of drawing (icons, backgrounds, Persians), but this is only in large offices.
There is 3d - and there is a lot of everything - modelers (make a model), texturers (make textures and materials), and modelers can also be divided by type of drawing.
There are visual effects - VFX - and they have their own kitchen.
There is also UI - completely separate
. There are also separately animators, art leads, art dirs, and so on.. The
first thing is important - all this can be combined in different combinations in different people.
The second is important - in fact, the first division is 2d / 3d, the second is what we draw.
