Tweaking landscapes Landscape Unigine?
how to fine-tune the landscape settings for a large area?
the size of the visible area is a square with sides of 16 km (visibility restrictions are about 6 km). The visibility zone from the ground is about 1 km, but from a height, the entire relief will be visible.
Albedo card - 16384x16384 pixels 16bit - no problem with it. But when using a heightmap of the same size, there is a wild "ladder" of heights. The only thing that saves is reducing the size of the height map to 1024x1024 or even 512x512. At the same time, noticeable "lines" disappear, but the relief (very much smoothed) is also lost.
Using a 16-bit heightmap provides a very small fix. Increasing the mesh density has almost no effect.
I would like to understand the built-in tools. Creating a mesh for the entire surface with detail compaction in the center - I leave it as an emergency way out of the situation.

And the source for the height is not accidentally converted from 8 bit? very much like it. If anything, run into the official discord https://discord.com/invite/gFN7w9b There you can get a faster response from the developers or the community.
