What software exists for simple debugging?

Guys, tell me - maybe someone knows. After reinstalling Windows 7 x64 (SP1), Battlefield 1942 does not start for me. It does not give any error at all - stupidly, even a window does not appear. In the console, too, no logs.
Everything worked fine before the reinstall. Already downloaded 2 repacks of the game - still the same story.
I remember I came across a simple program on the Internet, inside which you open the desired executable, and if the executable does not find some file, then a line appears in the large white window in the list indicating the path along which the program unsuccessfully breaks.
In compatibility mode with older versions, it also does not start. Downloading all the updates and frameworks in a row is also not an option - the Internet is very slow. The most interesting thing is that the same Windows is on a friend's computer - everything starts perfectly from a clean Windows.
In general, the essence of the question is - who knows something like a debugger that shows which library the program lacks to run? Something complicated like ollydbg I can’t master.
I really want to play on the grid in BF 1942.
PS I forgot to add - I tried to run both on a discrete video card and on the built-in one. It worked for both before.

Look for "dependency walker".

SysInternals/WinInternals Utilities
For example, a file monitor.

So, the "dependency walker" program wins, which, with just one line, without unnecessary garbage, revealed the absence of the dxd8.dll file in the system32 folder, and I am already joyfully sailing on an aircraft carrier!)
