What server configuration to choose for a medium office?

Hello. Advise, please, iron under needs:
The company from 15 users, within half a year plan to expand up to 25. Want 1C UPP.
What configuration should the server have if, in addition to 1C, it will run Active Directory and file storage? Are there specific models that would completely close the issue, and even with a margin of 30 percent?

Many additional questions need to be asked in order to more or less accurately answer your question.
1C mode file or client-server (SQL)?. Do they often pull / upload something from the file-washing machine? Medium weight content? Access to 1C terminal or fat clients in the workplace? What activity is planned in 1C (at least how many documents per day)?
With 15 concurrent users, you definitely need SQL. Thus, there will be at least 5 services on the server: 1. Server
1C 2.
SQL Server
3. AD
4. File server
5.
Backups SQL (preferably SSD) 3. File washer 4. Backups
Raids and volume - at your discretion.
Network interface: gigabit from server to switch, weaving to users.
Processor: minimum i5-i7.
Memory: I would put 16+.
HELL, as mentioned above, I would also put on a separate wheelbarrow, otherwise it starts very interesting with the 30th user, when HELL suddenly becomes unavailable.

In a similar situation, I called a specialized 1C company and clarified the resource requirement for a given number of jobs. They always overestimate the requirements somewhat, so you can safely load the rest of the tasks. Next up is the budget. If not limited, then I take a complete branded solution. But often you have to fit into a very limited amount and engage in self-assembly. Good luck.

Greetings! It all depends on the budget and plans for further development. If I were you, I would buy a branded server (for example, HP Proliant dl160) and a dual-processor one is better, but it all depends on the budget. If the budget is very limited, you can buy used on Avito, you need at least 32 memory. Next, be sure to use MS Hyper-V virtualization or VM Ware ESXI (you can use the free version). We create 3 servers: dc, 1c, backup. It is highly desirable to use some kind of NAS for backups and raise a second domain controller on some unnecessary workstation. So you will lay the correct configuration, with which you will not be ashamed and will be able, if necessary, to ensure the growth of users.
