What's the anomaly?

Hello. I assembled an arduino device to control devices in automatic and manual mode from an IR remote control. Hood, light, etc.
Faced such a problem, everything works in all rooms except the kitchen. As soon as I take the IR receiver out of the kitchen, everything works again. I've tried unplugging all appliances in the kitchen, but it still doesn't help. Maybe someone with such a problem faced?

Maybe it's the lighting, try turning off the lights. IR remotes use a signal modulated by some frequency, and if the light blinks at the same or close frequency, then there may be problems with signal reception.

If the receiver is connected with a long wire to the controller, most likely it collects interference. And in the kitchen there may be a source like an induction hob.

Are there any fluorescent lamps in the kitchen? May interfere with the IR receiver.
