What protocols or systems are there besides RDP and VNC?

There is a terminal server of desktops through which all access the Internet. Works on RDP. Tell me what alternatives RDP and VNC have, because when watching a video, the image shamelessly "crumbles". Can eat any protocols besides RDP and VNC or the whole systems?

How many resources do you have on this server to watch videos from youtube). There are also perverted tasks.
You can try using remoteFX in RDP.

HTML5 can do both sound and video. Surely that program has a web interface. In general, for all remote desktops, the protocol is calculated at 1 frame per 5 seconds.
All real-time video tasks require specialized solutions. Even Steam is still not working well.

Neither RDP, nor VNC, nor any other protocol is designed to view remote video - stupidly there is not enough network speed.
