What programming language to choose for working with sound in the browser?

Hello. I've wanted to learn programming for a long time. I would like to immediately work on a specific goal. To begin with, I would like to implement control of a virtual musical instrument, for example, from a midi keyboard or even from a regular keyboard. Also of interest is the transmission of an audio signal (from the input of a sound card) from a computer and broadcasting to the network. The main requirement is that it all works in the browser. That is, for example, I went to the site, opened a virtual piano, I play, and everyone who is currently on the site can hear, and maybe even play along with other instruments.
Searching on Habré on the topic of sound, I came across only Java. I saw some similar functions on services on the network on a flash.
Please advise which programming language is best suited for these purposes?
Many thanks in advance to all who respond!
