What processor should I get for Visual Studio?

Hello! Tell me which processor to take for Visual Studio, there are about 120 pcs in solving projects, everything needs to work quickly, I think between i3 and i5, so tell me what is more important for Visual Studio and because of what it will work faster (there is an SSD, 8 gb of RAM ), number of cores or number of threads or frequency per core?

Put a couple more sticks of RAM, and of course i5, but I would also recommend looking towards i7

1. i3 and i5 come in very different generations
and some i3 64xx will completely "make" i7 14xx
2. I would prioritize it like this:
Disk
Memory
Processor
So if the price delta between the processors allows you to buy more memory - imho it will be better
p / s/ i7 35xx 8GB of RAM and SSD - in principle, only the long loading of a full solution with over 500 projects causes discomfort, so for everyday life I use Unload Project (fortunately, the project architecture allows me to do this)

It all depends on the monetary units in your pocket) Vizhla is parallel, so the cores are still very important, but if there is no money, then they are not so easy to find)
Another nuance is the motherboard and your requirements for it. For example, i5 + z170 / z270 is not much cheaper than i7 + h110, but if the van needs Raid, more ports and expansion slots, then the z-mother will still be better, well, do not forget that overclocking is only on such motherboards .
Well, the last nuance is the imminent release of new processors from AMD. In Zen we trust)) Cheap multi-cores will not hurt anyone)
So I would advise you to wait a bit, and then look at the tests and create a question on the toaster again)
