What physical properties should the materials have?

Everything related to the visual properties of materials is quite understandable, since there is enough information on the network (lighting, texture maps)
But what is more about physical simulation, even in the documentation for physical. engines are not said much, for example, what they managed to "dig up":
- Elasticity
- Brittleness
- Wettability
- Density
For which properties should space be reserved, in order to develop the engine in the future for simulating the environment?
