What modern printer can print on this?
Hi guys.
There was a problem to choose a printer that can print on this . At the
moment, they print on HP 5100 - this mammoth is on LPT and is older than many here on the forum =) - it works, it prints.
We tried it on Kyocera for 130 thousand rubles - it crumples, does not chew, swears.
I thought the problem was due to density - a package of 140 g, a Kyocera printer takes 300 - it's not about density.
I stopped at the problem in the leaf path. On the 5100 it goes, as it were, called "printing along the plane", and on the Kyocera it goes "snake".
In general, the question is: at the moment who printed / prints who are these packages? Interested in what printer you are doing this and if there are any problems.

The sheet path was straightened on the cheap Kyocera ECOSYS P3050dn, ECOSYS P3055dn and ECOSYS P3060dn by feeding from the Multi-Purpose Tray and dispensing to the Rear Output Tray (of course, both trays must be opened).
Setting in the printer driver (select in the fields highlighted in red):
Setting in the menu:
This was how it was possible to print (and at high speed) on very difficult media (including maximum density). Of course, the corresponding media type is also indicated.
According to the Operation Manual for new similar ECOSYS P3145dn ECOSYS P3150dn and ECOSYS P3155dn , only P3155dn can do this:
