What media center?

Need a media center with flexible settings.
I would like to be able to attach a picture, description, sound tracks to one file. Maybe another video file. Well, sort of like 3D and regular video.
So that the series could be stuffed into one folder and not just on the main one - a list of 200 files.
If XBMC can do this, then show me where to read it, I did not find it.

Regarding the linking of descriptions, posters, trailers - this is what mediaportal can do, but about 3d / 2d - I won’t tell you, I haven’t seen this.
PS And the media center - do you mean software or hardware?

audio tracks exactly supports.
and playing video through binoplayer is more accurate through its plugin for xbmc (but it is a little clumsy) and requires not bad resources if the file is side-by-side

It does not pretend to be a solution, but it can suit this option:
xmbc, emnip, can add parts to the movie (if suddenly your movie consists of not one file, but several). Well, you can add a non-3d part to 3d (:

I want to give my husband a media center for his birthday. Unfortunately - like any (or almost any) woman, I am not very versed in technology. It seems that they found on the e-catalog a model that is good in description and suits me in terms of price - Aura HD Plus .
It is written that it has good performance, that this media center can play IPTV, videos from YouTube and other hostings. He has his own browser and even the ability to skip TV shows or pause. This function will be useful even for me, I think))). And Aura HD Plus seems to support 3D video - it's great if you can watch 3D movies at home, and not in the cinema.
True, in the characteristics there are a few things that are incomprehensible to me. For example, is the processor frequency of 650 MHz a lot or a little? Composite and optical outputs - are these needed to connect to plasma or not? Maybe there is a kind soul who will explain all this to me?))
