You need to disassemble the case, find the UART , connect to the console via a USB-UART adapter and see what's inside. Most likely there is a firmware based on Linux.
If you immediately have access to the console, you can find out the model and manufacturer of the chipset, the kernel version, and with this information you can already build your own image of the operating system to suit your needs.
