What is the structure of the High Level Designer Document (HLD)?

Hello!
I'm preparing for admission, and in the tickets there is such a question: " High-level designer document structure (HLD) ". I know what it is, but I always thought that the HLD is an optional document (that is, it is done just for convenience). And I have never seen a clear regulation of its structure.
Can someone give its structure in general form? Is there a description somewhere?
