What is the speed of the Internet in Siberia (Irkutsk)?

I am interested in how realistic (whether it is technically accessible), and also how comfortable it is to work for a western customer from the northern territories of the Russian Federation.
Does it allow internet speed. Is it possible to connect high speed internet.

We are good with the Internet :) All federal operators are represented, the prices are adequate. Most of the quality is the same. This is if you take the city itself. Outside the city and in the private sector, everything is more difficult.

The speed is highly dependent on the capabilities of providers in a particular location.
Including in remote Siberia there are a lot of places where there are very high speeds.
Watching what to do. The highest speed is not enough for what kind of work is extremely necessary.
PS: why does a frontender (as you describe yourself) need high-speed Internet? you can do your work at 256 megabits moderately comfortably.
Are you looking for an excuse to explain your failure to your wife/girlfriend/parents/successful friends? It's not about the internet, it's about you.

In my opinion, the only possible discomfort (and even more for a customer) when working for a western customer from Siberia is if the customer is from the USA and the hourly difference is 11-14 hours, and then everything is solved :) And the Internet in large cities has long been quite good so as not to cause discomfort :)

so for work you need a penny in general, a megabit is usually enough.
especially since you are a front-end developer, why the hell do you need gigabit internet?

I work even through 3G, where the connection is bad.
No problem.
