Hello! I understand that the question has become obsolete and there are already many. But still.
What is the most optimal site structure width at the end of 2018?
I use 960px on my blog. I really like it, everything is compact, convenient. On a 1280x720 screen :)

Well, it's all subjective, very, very. It all depends on the theme of the site, the amount of content on the page. It seems to me that the grid of the same bootstrap is quite familiar.
