Can I use LG Screen Split for older monitors?

The advertisement for new models of LG monitors introduces the new LG Screen Split functionality, which allows you to synchronously resize adjacent windows on the screen.
You can see it here: https://youtu.be/sFDb_UIZJ6g?t=1m50s
I downloaded the software for new monitor models from the official LG website, which included this program.
I found that on my not new LG IPS224, which is a couple of years old and which does not support this functionality, the program is very unstable.
A short desktop entry: https://youtu.be/9PTYnSJIGKQ
Question:
1) Do you think this technology is really supported in new models at the hardware level, or did you specifically make "glitches" for other models?
2) Is there any way to bypass the restriction?
3) Are there alternative programs with just such a function of synchronous window resizing?
PS I called LG about this issue. Quite sharply they answered that they did not know if this could be implemented on older models and that testing had not been carried out. Here I have two options: either just an operator - an asshole got caught (in terms of a sharp answer to a common question) or the company avoids this topic.

A solution was found - the AquaSnap program, which works correctly on any monitor.

Well, on a non-LG monitor, the software did not even start. But I doubt that for older models they would insert phantom glitches. Rather, the software itself is buggy. Especially considering that this infection turned off UAC itself.
