What is the impact of higher education on an entrepreneur's career?

Hello, because question from my personal life, I'll tell you a little about myself. I am 18 years old. I have been developing my product for almost 2 years now. (I created a program, created a website, promoted a website, and gained a lot of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship and programming). I receive passive income from the programs sold, enough for a good family subsistence (because I live in Ukraine, Donetsk), only those who earn money on the Internet or some pensioners receive here, and there is also enough for utilities and not expensive entertainment (although I I don't like to have fun). So THIS IS THE QUESTION: I do not have a higher education, I am enrolled in the Technical University with a degree (software development) on a part-time basis, budget. And I have no desire to spend neither time nor money on this education. Because I believe that a piece of paper (diploma) that is given after graduation is needed only in companies that will accept you. But I don’t want to work for anyone, I like to create my own product, develop it, and at the same time understand that it is useful to people, and they pay me. Roughly speaking: a diploma is to work in a company for someone. Knowledge - I can work for myself. I have much more to develop, create my own company and promote it. BUTparents are 100% sure that higher education is mandatory. Without it, nowhere, it's insurance. After talking with them, I failed to convince them that this is not so. And if my "business" falls apart, then the knowledge will remain. They claim that a diploma is a SECURITY. And I don't understand them. Why do you think a person who can and loves to create a product and promote it wants to create a small company to start with a Higher Education Diploma? What were the cases when you needed a diploma?
UPD: I decided all the same that it’s not so difficult to appear at the university 2 times a year. I will finish =) Thank you all for your opinion.

The university shows the history of the development of human thought and experience, which makes the brain less likely to reinvent the wheel, more often study previous, current and competitive developments, respect other people's experience, develop skills for collecting and analyzing information.
The university shows interdisciplinary relationships that make the brain work more widely, reveal unexpected parallels and non-trivial solutions in real life. A person stops making naive judgments about philosophy, politics, life, prospects ... A
university forces you to write long essays (aka term papers and theses), maybe even independent and group laboratory work, which makes you plan your activities, work out cooperation with at least equals colleagues.
In the end, the university shows a lot of characters and characters, and almost every second person is an expert in something, more often certified and certified, which makes them reckon with them, borrow their knowledge and methods, and develop a variety of lines of communication.
And what is there in terms of specifics - whether it is agricultural, whether it is architecture, whether it is vyshmat - it already affects a little less. It also has a very strong role if you apply to continue working in your specialty. But maybe not everyone works in their specialty.
I think that parents are right: an honestly earned diploma is a certain bar in the head, below which a person does not allow himself to fall. Yes, and extra paper, too, will not hurt. Especially if the employer knows what training at a university provides and also knows what kind of workers are deprived of such training.
So go to the evening department at least - to somehow rotate in the environment.
PS Everywhere there are exceptions - there are stupid graduates (a lot), and very reasonable and sensible "without a tower" (few).

Education is very important and I strongly advise you to get a higher education.
Don't forget, everything you drive (trains, planes, cars), everything you support your life with (hospitals, pharmacies, shops, other institutions) - all infrastructure is created by people through higher education. All design norms for anything have been created through higher education. And all these thoughts that it is possible to live without higher education are the thoughts of those who only use the results of higher education. All those who do not like higher education sit well on what is designed by higher education. M-yes..

The influence of higher education on the career of an entrepreneur is MINIMUM!

Taki can be useful not only to work for an uncle. A simple example - I read about a guy from Australia who also started developing and SEO early - his resources brought (I think some still bring) a good income, but he could not go to the USA (if memory serves, the guy rushed to Silicon Valley) without a diploma engineer had visa problems. I myself do not have a very high opinion about higher education, or you work on your own, or no university will help, but in some cases it may come in handy. Maybe in ten years, but it will come in handy. If you are an entrepreneur, then you should also think for the future, as I understand it for you now, a tower is not a particularly burdensome (free) and free (budget) thing ─ why not get it? It's a pity for time ─ consider that you give your parents a gift (pay,

Now universities are needed in order to invest a minimum of knowledge in an unmotivated person. And no guarantee.
If there is motivation to gain knowledge, then a Russian university will only get in the way: it will take a lot of time from more effective self-study.
But if there is an opportunity to get into a good world-famous university, it is worth doing, there are already good conditions and training programs.

In the field of programming, it is worth separating the concepts of higher education and a diploma of higher education. When hiring, a diploma will give you an advantage only if there is real knowledge behind it, which can be very easily checked at an interview or a test task.
In the current economic and political situation, especially in your region, I would not be sure of the firm's 100% success. At least it is worth considering all possible options.

All successful entrepreneurs in your environment have dropped out of school. But it should be remembered that not only successful entrepreneurs, but also unsuccessful entrepreneurs, dropped out of school, we just don’t know anything about them . And if the case fails, it will be much more difficult to return to school than just to finish my studies now.

Higher education is more good than bad.
On the other hand, through force, it is not as effective as it could be if you choose consciously.
By the way, there is a higher education for businessmen: economics, management and other specialties.
You need to go to study not for the sake of a diploma, and this is exactly what you are discussing, but for the sake of knowledge. Choose the field of knowledge that you need and study.
Do you think people would get a second degree, or go to courses like MBA, if it was completely ineffective?
If there is no desire to go now, then it is quite possible to postpone it for several years. See what the soul lies more in, what knowledge is lacking, and so on. With the first education, people often make mistakes when they make decisions in a hurry, so it makes sense to wait and understand what is really needed.
P.S. I would recommend studying Russian. With even an ambitious businessman with such a level of literacy with which this post is written, not everyone will consider it a joy to work.

Дайте им послушать песню кайф Коржа.
А так в целом образование у нас унылое, никакую подстилку не создает и его важность вбили в головы наших родителей идеологически.
