What is the difference in the protocols of Opera Mini 7 and Opera Mini 26?
Hello!
Tell me, please, what is the difference between the data transfer protocol of Opera Mini version 7 and the protocol used in extreme saving mode on version 26? Basically, almost nothing. Both use OBML to render pages. According to 2ip.ru, proxy servers are very similar. In principle, you can even make both browsers work through the same proxy. But for some reason, version 26 refuses to load some sites that are prohibited by censorship (VK, Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru). Version 7 does a great job with them.
At first I sinned on DNS. However, neither changing its addresses to public nor editing hosts solved the problem.
I tried to parse the traffic and this is what happened:
Opera Mini 7 requests DNS (UPD). Then gets one biga packet (TCP) in which all page data is visible and stored.
Opera Mini 26 again requests DNS (UPD). Then it receives several small packets (TCP), and then starts pouring other SSL-encrypted packets (TCP) somewhere. And so it continues until the connection timeout occurs.
Now to the essence of the question: is it possible to remake version 26 so that it works by analogy in 7?
