Why do Cyrillic fonts look crooked in Opera under Linux?
There is a fresh Opera in Ubuntu 16.04
And for some reason the letters "jump", although there is no problem nearby in Chrome.
Since the problem is observed only with Russian, I could not find a solution in the English-speaking communities.
I tried to change the font in the opera settings - the problem is not solved.

How can you try to solve this problem:
1) Install a font pack from Windows
2) Play around with hitting (primarily with it)
3) Play around with anti-aliasing
Usually after all this you can achieve non-jumping fonts. But they will still be unlike screw ones.
If you like opera so much, then try Vivaldi - it has normal fonts.
I have exactly the same on the toaster in firefox. Only "jumping" is not so strong.
