What is the difference between the forecast of the average cost per click and the amount written off in Yandex.Direct?
Today I tried to create an advertising campaign in Yandex.Direct and broke my head why there are two values when setting bids: the forecast of the average cost per click and the debited amount. In this case, the debited amount may differ several times from the average cost per click. For example, in my campaign, the average cost per click was 230 rubles, and the debited amount was 5 rubles. What it is? These are incomparable amounts! Why do we need the figure of 230 rubles, if in the end there will be 5 rubles written off?

Did I understand correctly that you mean two columns in the campaign interface when setting bids?
These are the position prices and the write-off price. The write-off price is calculated based on the VCG auction , which "smooths out" the prices of all competitors in the block so that the final cost does not depend heavily on any participant who dominates the bid. However, in order to bid for an item, you must bid at least the item price listed in the first column.
Simply put, in order to compete for a position, you need to set a bid limit of at least the number in the first column, but if your ad wins, then only the cost in the right column will be debited.
