Prototype is a broad concept denoting the layout of an interface, it can be of very different degrees of detail. A wireframe is a sketch of an interface that shows where things should be placed, but doesn't go into details of how they look. User flow - a diagram showing the sequence of user actions, it can be completely abstract, it can be on top of the layout.
