What is the difference between playing 1k and 4k?

I understand the difference in work. you can open a couple of windows and use 1 instead of two monics, but in games what does this mean? the picture is denser or what?

if the picture in the game consists of a bunch of different details, then on a 1k monitor, let's say a "lack of pixels" and more ladders will be noticeable, at 4k the density will be sufficient so that it would not be noticeable
