What is the detail in the note?

Here's the thing I pointed out with an arrow in the photo (clickable): It dangled inside the laptop (ASUS M70Vm), and even managed to jam the cooler. When disassembling, it turned out that she was not alone there, and there are several more such “icicles” that hang around the perimeter of the compartment “on snot”. It seems that they do not support anything, and do not rely on anything. Fortunately, this one did not close anything [although maybe I'm worrying about it in vain], but the rest are still hanging, waiting for their time :) Can anyone tell me what this is for?

Laptop cases are usually shielded from electromagnetic interference. This part is similar to a contact that electrically connects two body parts. From above, apparently, a cover shielded from the inside is attached, for which these contacts are intended.

Maybe for cooling? Pure speculation.

Spring contact bar? The fastening element is an electrical contact between the body parts. Contacts with metal coating on the inside of the case plastic. So that it forms a single EM screen.

to be honest, it looks like a door hinge =)
but in general, most likely to protect a person from excessive exposure, maybe.

In my opinion, this is a conductor for removing static.

Thanks to all.
Now we need to figure out what the hell it is. I understand if the laptop ever fell. But during normal operation ...
Yes, and when the compartment cover was closed, the second plate (marked in the middle in the photo) also fell out. And to disassemble further (in order to normally see how it is attached from the inside and return the pieces of iron to their place) is somehow scary. With iron, extra parts often form with me.
