What is the correct way to replace a disk in RAID5 on a Supermicro SMC2108 controller?

There is a RAID5 of 8 screws, a Supermicro SMC2108 controller.
One of them wrote:
Firmware state: Unconfigured(bad)
and fell out of the raid. I have a replacement disk.
Is it possible to get a disk on a hot one and insert a new one?
Will the rebuild go automatically or will it be necessary to kick?

It supports Hot-Plug. You can hot.
As for autorebuild, it all depends on the settings ( hwraid.le-vert.net/wiki/LSIMegaRAIDSAS )

The same problem happened on AOC-SAS2LP-H8iR 2108, BTR-0018L-0000-LSI. One of the eight disks in RAID5 showed Media Error Count: 1. The problem has not yet matured, but we decided to replace it preventively.
We also entered the MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility by pressing CTRL + M and there is NO "Prepare to removal" there, just as there is no "Assign Global Hot Spare". There is only “Make offline” and “Locate”, but according to the indication, the disk both blinked and continued to blink.
Just removed the failed HDD and put a new one in its place. Naturally, the utility showed the old one as PD Missing, and the new one as Unconfigured. When we entered the new SAS disk, the RAID controller itself said that Array0_Disk3 missed and offered to do REPLACE by new? Y/N?
We agreed, the controller did Rebuild and everything worked.
ps Didn't even go into the Configuration Wizard.
